Wine & Food Pairings at the "Family Tables"- Opening Weekend February 18th

Seghesio Family Vineyards offers the opportunity to sit and relax away from a busy tasting room bar to enjoy wine as it was intended...around a table with food and friends. Our "Family Tables" pair our most limited wines with seasonal tastes of Seghesio Family recipes. Please join us at the Family Tables any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

February Wine Release Party ~ Cioppino Dinner
Date: Saturday, February 26th
Dinner Seatings: 4:00, 6:00 & 8:00pm
Location: Seghesio Winery—Redwood Room
Join Uncle Ray & Aunt Margaret Seghesio for their annual Crab Cioppino Dinner. Uncle Ray's Crab Cioppino will be served with our newest wine releases, 2009 Barbera and 2009 Old Vine Carignane. After dinner, enjoy dessert down in our century-old cellar before heading out to relax and finish the evening at the always popular 'Cigar Bar Lounge'. Be sure to sign up for your dinner reservation soon, as seatings always sell out quickly!

Riedel Glass Seminar & Seghesio Salumi Tasting

Do you know your perception of a wine can be enhanced by the size and shape of the glass? Join Daniel Vu, director of wineries for Riedel Crystal, for a special tasting of your favorite Seghesio wines that show how glassware affects flavors and aromas. Be first to enjoy a special pairing designed by our Master Salumist Joshua Smith, featuring 6 house-cured salumi recipes. You'll receive a set of 4 Riedel Vinum XL glasses, a retail value of $125, to keep and enjoy with Seghesio wines for years to come!

Mister Gary (Cathy Seghesio's Dad) and Uncle Cotton are flying out from New Orleans to host ya'll Big Easy style—Cajun BBQ Ribs, Seafood Gumbo with Andouille Sausage, Tasso Shrimp Fettuccini and traditional Beignets for dessert—paired with what we do best, Zinfandel and Italian varietals. Don't miss the best music in town with Andre Thierry & Zydeco Magic. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
May Wine Release Party

Location: Seghesio Winery—The Grove
Kick off the summer season at Seghesio as we heat up the Grove with our pizza ovens blazing! Relax and enjoy the party with wood-fired pizzas and the release wines, our 2009 Home Ranch & Rockpile Zinfandels. Then, head over to the Crush Pad for one of our special Chef Demos where you'll have the chance to get hands-on experience at the wood-fired ovens ( and make your own pizza to share with your friends).
